For low-cost wires, either they are cutting corners or the quantity is not enough.

Some of the UL wires on the market are cheap, some are expensive, and there are many kinds of them. How can we distinguish them?

First, open the package to see the next side of the wire, the national standard 1.5 ~ 6 square wire requires the outer skin thickness of 0.7mm (refers to the insulation thickness), too thick is non-standard, the corresponding inner core must not be enough, just pull a line of skin, common sense is not easy to tear the wire is consistent with the national standard.

2、 Look at the inner core, the higher the brightness of the raw material (copper) of the inner core, the better the copper quality, and its luminosity is uniform, glossy, and there is no sense of hierarchy. According to the national standard, the inner core must be made of oxygen free copper. Non standard products such as black rod copper may have potential accidents.

3、 Look at the packaging, the national standard wire is often done better, neat, holding up a sense of quality.

4、 Check the length: the state does not have to force the unit meter on the wire. There are many manufacturers in the market who will mark the unit meter. It is not necessarily the national standard to mark the unit meter.

5、 Burn with a fire, leaving the fire after 5 seconds to calm the wire, will have a certain flame retardant function, this wire is the national standard line.

6、 According to the national standard, relevant marks must be marked every other interval on the wire, and the maximum interval should not exceed 500mm. The logo usually has the product trademark, manufacturer's name, executive specifications, etc.

7、 The internal core thickness of the national standard has certain requirements, but not very strict, but it will not be very bad, only a little bit, there are generally errors that can not be seen with the naked eye.
